Ingredients

- 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 sheet pie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp melted butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
Instructions
- Peel, core, and dice the apples into small pieces. Mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thick and cut into squares.
- Place a heaping tablespoon of apple mixture in the center of each square. Fold and seal the edges tight.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Air fry the bombs in a single layer for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Consider using a food brush for egg wash and avoid overcrowding in the air fryer for best results.
