Description
A delightful and healthy alternative to pasta, Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash is quick and easy to prepare, offering a unique, mildly sweet flavor that complements a variety of sauces and toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium Spaghetti Squash
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (or avocado oil)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Herbs (Basil, parsley, or thyme), to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Spaghetti Squash: Cut the squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides and season with salt and pepper.
- Place in the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the squash cut-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 20–25 minutes, depending on the size of your squash.
- Check for Tenderness: At around 20 minutes, check your squash. It should pierce easily with a fork and the flesh should form spaghetti-like strands. If it needs more time, cook for a few more minutes.
- Scrape the Strands: Once cooked, flip the squash over and use a fork to gently scrape out the flesh, creating long strands.
- Toss and Serve: Toss with your favorite sauce, sautéed veggies, or just a little fresh grated parmesan and herbs for a delightful dish.
Notes
For best results, always cut the squash lengthwise and ensure to season well to enhance flavors.
