Scale
  • 4 Fresh apples (Fuji or Honeycrisp)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Optional: A dash of cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Prep the Apples: Wash and peel the apples, remove cores, and chop into small pieces.
  2. Cook: In a saucepan, combine apples, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Heat over medium for about 10 minutes until apples are soft.
  3. Blend: Cool the mixture slightly, then puree in a blender until silky smooth.
  4. Chill: Pour the apple puree into a shallow dish, cover, and freeze. Stir with a fork every 30 minutes until fully frozen, about 2-3 hours.
  5. Serve: Scoop the Apple Sorbet into bowls or cones and garnish with fresh mint or cinnamon.

Notes

Chill serving bowls in the freezer for best results. Use ripe apples for better flavor.
