- 1 wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or rosemary)
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
- Drizzle honey over the Brie and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- Fold the pastry over the Brie, tucking in the edges to seal it completely.
- Mix the beaten egg with a splash of water and brush over the pastry (if using).
- Place the wrapped Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
