Ingredients

- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
