Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Incorporate eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
