Description
A warm, flavorful flatbread made with sourdough, Parmesan cheese, and freshly cracked black pepper, perfect for family gatherings and meals.
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread: about ½ inch thick slices
- Parmesan Cheese: grated
- Black Pepper: freshly cracked
- Olive Oil: for drizzling
- Herbs: fresh rosemary or thyme (or dried)
- Garlic: optional, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice sourdough into flatbread-sized pieces.
- If desired, mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush on slices.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan over each flatbread.
- Add freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.
- Cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
For a twist, try adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach before baking. Using fresh ingredients yields the best flavor.
