- 1 lb Beef (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 cup Fresh Pineapple, diced
- 1 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, sweet or yellow, diced
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Green Onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Cut beef into bite-sized cubes and season with black pepper, salt, and soy sauce. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in a single layer for 1-2 minutes until browned.
- Add minced garlic and diced onion, and sauté until fragrant and onions are caramelized.
- Add pineapple pieces and let the natural sugars caramelize, mixing well.
- Pour in soy sauce and stir, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and warm.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
