Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef (sirloin or flank steak), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 cup Fresh Pineapple, diced
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, sweet or yellow, diced
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Green Onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut beef into bite-sized cubes and season with black pepper, salt, and soy sauce. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in a single layer for 1-2 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and diced onion, and sauté until fragrant and onions are caramelized.
  4. Add pineapple pieces and let the natural sugars caramelize, mixing well.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and stir, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and warm.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
