Description

A whimsical Halloween dish combining spaghetti with a rich marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella eyeballs for a spooky twist.


Ingredients

  • Spaghetti
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Fresh Basil
  • Fresh Oregano
  • Small Mozzarella Balls
  • Black Olive Slices

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water, add spaghetti, and cook until al dente. Reserve about a cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in marinara sauce and add fresh herbs. Let simmer for 15 minutes, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  3. Assemble mozzarella eyeballs by placing a piece of black olive on each mozzarella ball.
  4. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat with sauce.
  5. Plate the spaghetti and arrange mozzarella eyeballs on top. Garnish with basil or parmesan if desired.
