  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter, stirring until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma. Let it cool slightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, espresso powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in toffee bits and chocolate chips.
  7. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
