- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
- Fold in butterscotch chips or toffee bits.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out evenly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm.
