Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the pumpkin and egg, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Sift the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.
  5. Gradually combine products: Slowly add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture, just until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips, being careful not to overmix.
  7. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet; maintain about two tablespoons per cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider chilling the dough for an hour before baking. Double the batch since they disappear quickly!
