Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; some lumps are okay.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour ladles of batter onto the skillet for pancakes of desired size.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve stacked with butter, maple syrup, or whipped cream.
