Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually stir into the wet mixture.
  7. Add peppermint extract and fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
