Ingredients

- 1 cup sago pearls
- 4 cups water
- 1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 ripe mangoes, diced
Instructions
- Prepare the Sago Pearls: Rinse the sago pearls under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Cook the Sago: In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add the sago pearls, and cook for 10-15 minutes until translucent.
- Sweeten the Coconut Milk: Combine coconut milk and sugar in a saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves.
- Combine: Drain the sago pearls, rinse, and mix with the sweetened coconut milk.
- Prepare the Mangoes: Dice mangoes and fold into the sago mixture, reserving some for topping.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
- Serve: Spoon into bowls, garnish with mango cubes and toasted coconut flakes.
Notes
For added flavor, drizzle honey or sprinkle lime zest on top before serving.
