Ingredients
- Pasta (penne or rotini)
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Thick-cut bacon
- Heavy cream
- Ranch seasoning
- Baby spinach or sundried tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Cook the Bacon: In a skillet, fry bacon until crispy, remove, and set aside, leaving drippings in the pan.
- Sauté the Chicken: In the same skillet, cook diced chicken in bacon fat until golden and cooked through (6-8 minutes).
- Make the Sauce: Lower heat, add heavy cream and ranch seasoning, stirring. Add reserved pasta water for desired consistency and optional spinach or sundried tomatoes.
- Combine: Stir in drained pasta and crumble crispy bacon on top before serving.
Notes
