Description

A comforting creamy pesto gnocchi dish that combines soft gnocchi with a rich basil pesto sauce.


Ingredients

  • Gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh Basil Pesto
  • Heavy Cream
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot boiling salted water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions (about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm a drizzle of olive oil, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the basil pesto and heavy cream, and allow it to simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Gently fold the cooked gnocchi into the sauce, ensuring they’re well coated.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste, finishing with grated Parmesan. Warm through for a couple more minutes.
  6. Serve garnished with extra basil or a drizzle of olive oil.

Notes
