Ingredients
- Fresh white fish (like cod, tilapia, or halibut)
- Feta cheese, crumbled
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Fresh garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (parsley and cilantro)
- Lime juice and zest
- Olive oil
- Corn or flour tortillas
Instructions
- Pat the fish dry and slice it into strips.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and lime zest.
- Drizzle olive oil in a shallow dish. Dip each fish strip in olive oil, then roll it in the feta mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the fish strips in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
- Warm the tortillas on another pan or stovetop.
- Assemble the tacos by placing fish strips in each tortilla and topping with avocado slices, slaw, and lime juice.
- Drizzle with salsa or crema and serve warm.
