Description

Delightful fish tacos coated with a crispy feta crust, topped with creamy avocado and zesty lime.

Ingredients

  • Fresh white fish (like cod, tilapia, or halibut)
  • Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Fresh garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (parsley and cilantro)
  • Lime juice and zest
  • Olive oil
  • Corn or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish dry and slice it into strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and lime zest.
  3. Drizzle olive oil in a shallow dish. Dip each fish strip in olive oil, then roll it in the feta mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the fish strips in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden.
  6. Warm the tortillas on another pan or stovetop.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing fish strips in each tortilla and topping with avocado slices, slaw, and lime juice.
  8. Drizzle with salsa or crema and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use grilled vegetables or tofu. Adjust toppings as desired for variety.
