- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable or canola oil, for frying
Instructions
- Peel and slice onions into rings, about a quarter-inch thick.
- Set up a breading station with bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and spices.
- Dip each onion ring in flour, then beaten eggs, and finally coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry coated onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove fried chips and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
