- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter until blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined.
- Fold in the sweet corn and cheese.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and pour in the mixture, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
