Delicious and warm apple fritters filled with sweet apple chunks and cinnamon, perfect for sharing with family.
Ingredients

- 2–3 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Apples: Peel and dice the apples into 1/2 inch chunks.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine the Wet Ingredients: Whisk together the milk and egg in another bowl.
- Combine: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Fold in the diced apples.
- Heat the Oil: Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat until ready.
- Fry the Fritters: Scoop 1/4 cup of batter and drop it into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain: Transfer fritters to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar and milk, and drizzle over warm fritters before serving.

Serve warm for the best experience! Can be paired with whipped cream or ice cream.
