Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Apples: Peel and dice the apples into 1/2 inch chunks.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Combine the Wet Ingredients: Whisk together the milk and egg in another bowl.
  4. Combine: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Heat the Oil: Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat until ready.
  6. Fry the Fritters: Scoop 1/4 cup of batter and drop it into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain: Transfer fritters to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
