- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp salted butter
- Green food coloring
- Chocolate chips (for eyes and mouth)
- Candy decorations (like candy corn or gummy worms)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by greasing a baking dish or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in green food coloring until desired hue is achieved.
- Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and press down gently with greased hands to shape.
- After about 30 minutes, cut into squares or rectangles and decorate with melted chocolate for eyes and mouth.
- Serve on a platter and enjoy!
Notes
Keep your treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For freezing, wrap individually in plastic and place in a freezer-safe container.
