Ingredients
- Sausage links (cocktail sausages or frankfurters)
- Puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- Honey or maple syrup
- Dijon or yellow mustard
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, mustard, and any additional spices; set aside.
- If using puff pastry, roll it out to 1/8 inch thick; for crescent roll dough, separate into triangles.
- Cut the dough into rectangles (puff pastry) or roll each sausage in the crescent dough.
- Brush each wrapped sausage generously with glaze.
- Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra glaze on the side for dipping.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, use vegetable sausage or cheese-filled crescent rolls. For a vegan version, substitute honey with agave syrup.
