- 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or canned)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (or cream)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning (or salt and pepper)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh corn, shuck the kernels from the cob; if using canned corn, drain well.
- In a large bowl, mix the corn, honey, melted butter, and eggs until fully blended.
- Pour in the milk or cream and mix well until creamy.
- Add Creole seasoning or salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and smooth out the top.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Let it cool for a few moments before serving warm.
Notes
You can substitute fresh corn with frozen or canned. For added flavor, try different types of honey or fold in fresh herbs.
