- 1 whole sea bream (or snapper/trout as substitutes)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons high-quality extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the fish under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Rub the garlic mixture all over the fish, including inside the cavity.
- Stuff the cavity with fresh herbs.
- Place the fish on a baking sheet and top with lemon slices.
- Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let the fish rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with extra olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
