Description

A refreshing and creamy guava smoothie that brings the taste of summer into your glass, filled with tropical flavors and a hint of lime.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe guavas, halved and flesh scooped out
  • 1 cup natural yogurt or your choice of milk (almond, coconut, or dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Sweetener to taste (honey, agave, or stevia)
  • A handful of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the guavas thoroughly and remove the skins if desired.
  2. Slice the guavas in half and scoop out the flesh and seeds.
  3. Add the guava flesh to a blender.
  4. Pour in the yogurt or milk and add lime juice.
  5. If desired, drizzle in your sweetener.
  6. Toss in ice cubes.
  7. Blend until smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides if needed.
  8. Adjust the sweetness or citrus flavor as necessary.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with mint leaves or a slice of lime.

Notes

For added nutrition, consider adding flaxseeds or chia seeds. Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds for a frozen treat.
