Description

Decadent brownies infused with the rich flavors of dark chocolate and crunchy toasted hazelnuts, perfect for sharing with loved ones.


Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 3 lightly beaten eggs
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 100g toasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together until smooth, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Allow to cool slightly, then add the beaten eggs one by one, whisking until thick and glossy.
  5. Sift together the flour and salt, then gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Fold in the toasted hazelnuts until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges spring back but the center remains soft.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes
