- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk and vinegar)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted for glazing
- Colorful sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs, then combine with dry ingredients without overmixing.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each well halfway.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Melt chocolate and dip the tops of each donut in the chocolate, then add colorful sprinkles.
- Let the glaze harden slightly, then serve and enjoy!
