Delicious homemade peppermint patties coated in rich dark chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings and creating family memories.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Form the mixture into small discs, about 1 inch wide, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover and refrigerate the discs for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate and butter/coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Dip each chilled patty into the chocolate using a fork, letting the excess drip off.
- Place the coated patties back on the baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Enjoy once set, or let reach room temperature for a softer bite.
Notes
Optional: Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top or sprinkle with crushed candy canes for a festive touch.
