Description

Delicious homemade peppermint patties coated in rich dark chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings and creating family memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Form the mixture into small discs, about 1 inch wide, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the discs for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt dark chocolate and butter/coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled patty into the chocolate using a fork, letting the excess drip off.
  6. Place the coated patties back on the baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
  7. Enjoy once set, or let reach room temperature for a softer bite.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top or sprinkle with crushed candy canes for a festive touch.
