Ingredients

- 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 Blend)
- 8 oz Fresh Mushrooms (cremini, button, or portobello)
- 4 slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (thyme or rosemary)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 Burger Buns
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, chopped mushrooms, olive oil, and herbs; mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, slightly larger than the buns.
- Cut large squares of aluminum foil and place a patty in the center of each square.
- Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and any other desired toppings.
- Fold the foil over the burger and crimp the edges to seal securely.
- Place the foil packets on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Carefully remove the packets from the grill, allow steam to escape before opening, and serve on toasted buns.
Notes
Consider marinating your patties for extra flavor. You can also add jalapeños for heat or sautéed onions for sweetness.
