Description

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a rectangular baking pan with butter or parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with milk and maple syrup. Mix until just combined.

  7. While cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
