Description

A delightful Matcha Panna Cotta that blends the earthy flavor of matcha with a silky, creamy texture, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 packet gelatin (or agar-agar for a vegetarian option)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm.
  3. Whisk in the matcha powder until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Add vanilla extract.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into serving cups or ramekins, cool slightly, and cover with plastic wrap.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Serve with fresh berries, sesame seeds, or honey.

Notes

Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid graininess. Let the panna cotta chill properly for the best texture.
