Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 packet gelatin (or agar-agar for a vegetarian option)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Sprinkle the gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm.
- Whisk in the matcha powder until fully combined and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Add vanilla extract.
- Carefully pour the mixture into serving cups or ramekins, cool slightly, and cover with plastic wrap.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Serve with fresh berries, sesame seeds, or honey.
Notes
Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid graininess. Let the panna cotta chill properly for the best texture.
