- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 8 oz brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberries (fresh or sauce)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles (3 inches in diameter).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin and press each pastry circle into the cups.
- Add small pieces of brie and a spoonful of cranberries in each pastry shell.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastry.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and flaky.
- Let cool slightly before serving, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a twist, substitute brie with camembert or goat cheese, and cranberries with figs or apples. Serve warm or at room temperature.
