Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until blended.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; a few lumps are okay.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Lightly grease the skillet and pour 1/4 cup of batter onto it. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

Notes
