Description

Soft and buttery knots infused with garlic and parmesan, perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or other herbs)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about ½ inch thick, and cut into 1-inch strips.
  3. Form each strip into a knot and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the knots with the garlic butter mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan before serving.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Allow knots to cool for a few minutes before serving.
