Description

A rich and creamy holiday fudge infused with peppermint and topped with crushed candy canes, perfect for sharing and gifting.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8-inch square baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, butter, and chocolate chips. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add peppermint extract, adjusting to taste.
  4. Fold in crushed candy canes.
  5. Pour into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle remaining crushed candy canes on top.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature for 2 hours, then refrigerate for 2 additional hours until set.
  8. Lift out using parchment paper, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

For an extra festive look, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top before adding additional crushed candy canes.
