- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour

- a pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Remove from heat and mix in sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
- Stir in vanilla extract and buttermilk.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Add red food coloring until well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
Notes
Avoid overmixing for a lighter texture. Measure flour carefully to prevent dense brownies.
