Description

A flavorful and tender Roasted Butterball Turkey Breast, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 Butterball turkey breast (bone-in)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the turkey breast all over with softened butter, then season generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and herbs, including under the skin.
  4. In a roasting pan, scatter the chopped carrots, celery, and onion, then place the turkey breast on top.
  5. Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for approximately 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), basting with pan juices every 30 minutes.
  6. Let the turkey rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
  7. Slice and serve alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

For a lighter option, you can use olive oil instead of butter. Feel free to use seasonal vegetables for added flavor.
