- 1 Butterball turkey breast (bone-in)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey breast all over with softened butter, then season generously with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and herbs, including under the skin.
- In a roasting pan, scatter the chopped carrots, celery, and onion, then place the turkey breast on top.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for approximately 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), basting with pan juices every 30 minutes.
- Let the turkey rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
- Slice and serve alongside your favorite sides.
Notes
For a lighter option, you can use olive oil instead of butter. Feel free to use seasonal vegetables for added flavor.
