Description

Deliciously soft and chewy cookies featuring a rich salted caramel center, perfect for sharing and indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Stir in the caramel sauce until incorporated.
  8. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  9. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
  11. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a thicker cookie, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Use coconut oil for a dairy-free version.
