- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or gouda)
- 1/2 cup pitted and chopped olives (green or black)
- 1 tablespoon dried herbs (rosemary or thyme)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the eggs and buttermilk, then stir in the cheese and olives.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
