Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles in salted water until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms; sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
- Combine the cooked noodles with the beef mixture, folding in the sour cream.
- Transfer to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
