Description

Ingredients

  • Manicotti Pasta
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Garlic
  • Herbs (Basil and Oregano)
  • Egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add spinach until wilted.
  3. Let cool, then mix with ricotta, Parmesan, herbs, and egg.
  4. Cook manicotti shells in boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse.
  5. Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish with marinara sauce.
  6. Top with more marinara and sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving, garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the pasta shells. Taste the filling for seasoning before stuffing.
