Ingredients
- Manicotti Pasta
- Ricotta Cheese
- Fresh Spinach
- Parmesan Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Marinara Sauce
- Garlic
- Herbs (Basil and Oregano)
- Egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add spinach until wilted.
- Let cool, then mix with ricotta, Parmesan, herbs, and egg.
- Cook manicotti shells in boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse.
- Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish with marinara sauce.
- Top with more marinara and sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving, garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
Ensure not to overcook the pasta shells. Taste the filling for seasoning before stuffing.
