- Fresh strawberries, chopped and reserved for garnishing
- Yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and your choice of milk.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
- Chop fresh strawberries and fold them into the mixture, reserving some for garnishing.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid.
- The next morning, stir the mixture and top with reserved strawberries and yogurt if desired.
Notes
Oats keep well in the fridge for up to five days. Avoid using instant oats to maintain texture.
