Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf rustic sourdough or baguette
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 45 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, oregano, or basil)
  • Optional: sautéed mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
  3. Slice the bread into thick slices (1 inch).
  4. Brush both sides of each slice with the garlic butter.
  5. Place bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Top slices with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and edges are crispy.
