Description

Delicious turkey sliders with a tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 12 slider buns (brioche or whole wheat)
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (or 1/2 tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar or goat cheese (optional)
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, herbs, spices, and a pinch of salt. Mix gently.
  2. Shape mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Toast slider buns lightly in another pan or oven.
  5. Spread cranberry sauce on the bottom of each bun, add a turkey patty, and cheese if desired. Top with the bun lid.
  6. Serve on a platter and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

These sliders can be grilled or baked; just finish with a broiler for a golden top. They can be frozen after cooking for up to three months.
