- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
- Toss cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce. Add pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
- For garlic bread, spread softened butter mixed with garlic and parsley on baguette slices and toast until golden.
