Ingredients
- Thinly sliced deli roast beef
- Mini baguettes or slider rolls
- Beef broth (for au jus)
- Worcestershire sauce
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh garlic, minced
- Fresh thyme or rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat and add minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Brush garlic butter over the cut sides of the rolls.
- Place layers of roast beef on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Pour warmed au jus over the beef to soak in.
- Add the top halves of the rolls, drizzle with more butter, and season with herbs.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until tops are golden and crispy.
Notes
For a healthier version, use lean beef or turkey and whole grain rolls. Serve with fresh salad or steamed vegetables.
