- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (dark or light)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Cut your chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and add chicken pieces. Sauté until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the honey-soy mixture over the chicken and stir to coat thoroughly. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
- Serve over fluffy white rice or steamed veggies.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce. Brown sugar can substitute honey if you’re in a pinch.
