Description

A comforting dish of tender chicken and noodles coated in a rich, sticky garlic sauce, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 5 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 8 oz Chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: Green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Add the chicken pieces, mix well, and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing well to coat with the sticky sauce and chicken.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Marinate longer for enhanced flavor. Use a high heat to create caramelization. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
